Harry Newmans is Sixteen. - OPEN

Character bio;

Harry was in hospital on suicide watch when he found out he was invisible. For months up until ‘the incident’ Harry wasn’t very happy. He was bullied a lot at school and to this day he doesn’t know why. It’s like he stepped through the doors of his new school on the first day with a target on his back and a sign on his head that said ‘fire at will’. He tried to tell his parents and teachers but no one would listen to him. If they did listen they sent him away with the assurance that it would all be sorted. But it never was. Eventually it got too much for him. He got so low that he tried to take his own life. Luckily, he didn’t succeed. He hated his stay in hospital and was glad to find that he could just walk out. A scout found him wandering outside and took him back to the safehouse. He’s doing a lot better now and even met a girl that he’s fallen for. A girl who he can relate to. He’s happier.

He thought his parents were just too stressed to talk to him. He didn’t realise that he was invisible. So he went out in search of his stepbrother to bring him home and make their parents happy. Born into a family of lies and deceit, Dallon tried everything he could to not be like his parents. They were con artists, you see. They would trick people into giving them heaps of money with no reward. This lifestyle meant that they had to move a lot and even change their names on occasion. Dallon hated never having an actual identity, he hated that they could stay in one place long enough for him to have proper friends and he hated constantly running from the law. Although he never wanted for anything. The ‘jobs’ made the family very wealthy so he always got given expensive presents from his parents that he never wanted. He didn’t want any present that was bought with stolen money. He was more than happy to follow a scout to the safehouse when he was found out as invisible. He’d finally managed to get away from his awful parents and he could actually settle in one place… maybe even make friends. He was happy that his parents were never going to ruin his life again.

Cara Brianne Walker is a singing waitress with a past she’d rather keep to herself. She ran away to Luxebridge when she was just sixteen, taking on all kinds of work and enrolling herself into an alternative school where she could finish up her education. She is originally from a very small isolated town up in the mountains of North Georgia, where she lived with her racist father, younger sister, and two older brothers. Her father and brothers were always in and out of jail, leaving Cara to take care of her younger sister most of the time, but other than that, she had very little social interaction, never having enough time to make school friends. It was hard for her to find her own way when her brothers were always filling her head with their thoughts and beliefs. In Luxebridge, though she mostly struggled during her first couple of years on her own doing anything she could for money, she was able to somewhat reinvent herself, doing her best to hold her tongue when the occasional ‘hillbilly’ and ‘redneck’ comments were thrown her way. Over time she learned to mask her accent, though it still slips sometimes. She wants nothing to do with her family and would rather pretend they didn’t exist, even if thinking about her little sister does make her feel guilty. She had gotten in contact with her a few days before she turned invisible. Cara found she could no longer be seen when she showed up for work one night and her boss had another waitress singing on stage because he claimed she hadn’t shown up. She went into a state of panic, worrying about her apartment and the rent and her job, but mostly her sister. She’d been wandering the street, not sure what to do with herself when she was found by someone who could see her, and though she was reluctant, she followed their lead to the safehouse.

Everything theatre is Charlie’s passion. Acting, singing, dancing, musicals, monologues, Shakespeare… anything you can think of relating to the stage. He started loving the spotlight from a young age and did a fair few stage shows before he had even turned ten. His first staring role was as Oliver in Luxebridge Theatre’s production of Oliver Twist. Everyone in town was looking forward to seeing him go onto bigger things- maybe even the big screen. That was until he went missing right in the middle of a performance. Of course he wasn’t really missing. He just turned invisible. The superstitious people of town put it down to a magic trick gone wrong. He was torn from the limelight. He spent days living in the shelter of the theatre because he couldn’t bare to be at home and watch his parents try to cope with his disappearing act. Eventually it got to much and he wandered out into the streets where he was found by a scout and taken to the safe house. Charlie is very flamboyant, confident and talkative. He’s very friendly.

Reece an over achiever with a manipulative attitude that quite frankly scared some of the people he went to school with. He hated almost everyone but acted the opposite. He went through girls like they were nothing because he liked the attention. And his attitude towards school was dismal but he somehow managed to be top of his class by his own merit. He was voted ‘Most likely to become a serial killer’ because of the way he went about. This all started after his father passed when he was 17. The only actual friend he had was Cathy Snow. He became a close friend of Cathy’s for a while. He took pity on the fact that she always seemed alone and he admired that she had stopped being friends with one of the most popular people in school. He was the reason she became so bitchy. The night he found out he was invisible was when himself, his step-brother, and hir three friends had been hanging out at his house catching up while they were home from college. Reece had only been in the room because his step-father asked him to pretend to be friends with them. After they had left, he’d gone to talk to his mother but she had ignored him. Which made him angry so he went t see what his brother had said to turn his mother against him. But his step-brother didn’t aknowledge him either. Frustrated and a little hurt, Reece wandered around Luxebridge until he found his old friend Cathy. He’s been at the mansion since, stirring up trouble here and their for his amusement. Ironically, he found himself in trouble when he knocked up one of his housemates, Reanne. HAving come to terms with her choice to keep the baby, Reece spends the majority of his time making sure she doesn’t fuck up her pregnancy. It is his kid she’s carrying, afterall.
